Open DID
Foundation
The Open DID Foundation’s vision is to promote the benefits and
value of DID technology to global community establishing
standardization and adoption.
Foundation Philosophy
Our philosophy with the foundation is to help organizations build the National ID Trust Framework,
leverage Open Source Community, and work with Global Standards.
We are promoting the Digital ID system as open source platform to be available as a software vendor lock-in free,
bring the subject matter experts into the development community to ensure the open source is the optimal solution for those needed organizations, also evolve on international standards
to ensure its interoperability, enable modules to be flexible, and make implementation easy as possible.

At the heart of Open DID Foundation is the belief that individuals should have control over theirown digital identities.
The Open DID Foundation is built on how individuals should be able to choose when, how, and to whom their identity data is disclosed.
Also, emphasize the need for strong privacy and security measures in digital identity systems, interoperability with open standards and protocols to ensure that different digital identity systems can work together seamlessly, and Identity Inclusion believing in the importance of universal access to digital identity regardless of their
location, socioeconomic status, or technological literacy, should have access and able to use digital identity systems.
